MacCARTHY (Cork and late of Skibbereen and Dublin) January 28, 2015, peacefully, at Montenotte Care Choice, Florence (née O'Shea), beloved wife of the late Daniel G. MacCarthy, loving mother of Gerry, Clare, Flor, Dan and Barry and adored grandmother of Eva, Christian, Isabelle, James and Charles. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. Removal from Romie O'Donovan's Funeral Home, North Street, Skibbereen at 7.00pm on this (Friday) evening to St. Patrick's Cathedral, Skibbereen. Requiem Mass at 12.30pm tomorrow (Saturday). Funeral afterwards to New Cemetery, Skibbereen. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Marymount Hospice. Requiescat in pace.

<p>Condolences</p> <p>I am so sorry for your very sad loss. Please take comfort - as I have - from what the Bible says about the resurrection. Two such verses are at John 5:28,29 and Psalm 37:29 and provide a lot of comfort and hope.</p>
