MacKENNA Mannix, (Farnham Street, Cavan), January 10, 2018. The sisters, brother, aunt and partner of the late Mannix MacKenna wish to thank, most sincerely, all who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. Thank you to all who called to the house, travelled long distances to be with us, paid their respects at the Funeral Mass, sent Mass cards and letters of sympathy. A special word of thanks to Very Rev. Kevin Donohoe P.P. who celebrated a very personal and touching Funeral Mass and in particular his words of remembrance of Mannix's life. We also thank Very Rev. Kevin Fay Adm. and Very Rev. Thomas McKiernan for officiating at the funeral. Thank you to Dessie Ronan, Carmel O'Donoghue and the members of the Cathedral Choir for their beautiful music and singing which added a special touch to the ceremony. A special thanks to the students of Castleknock College for the guard of honour. A sincere thank you to John McMahon for the dignified, professional and personal manner in which he carried out the funeral arrangements. To everyone, your meaningful words, thoughts, prayers and special efforts are greatly appreciated. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. Mannix's Month's Memory Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 17, 2018 in the Cathedral of Ss. Patrick and Felim, Cavan at 7.30 pm.
