DOWNING - Conor (Castleknock, Dublin) On the occasion of Conor’s First Anniversary on April 29, 2024, his wife Helen, daughter Sally, sons Tim and Killian, with their families, wish to express their sincere gratitude to all who attended Conor’s Requiem Mass in Castleknock and service in Glasnevin Crematorium. We thank those who travelled to be with us, sympathised with us, and sent letters, Mass cards and flowers: those words of compassion and kindness gave us solace in our sad loss. A special thanks to Fr Denis O’Connor CC and Fr Ultan Naughton (chaplain at TUD) who officiated at Conor’s Requiem Mass and whose thoughtful and wise words have stayed with us. We thank the Mass harpist and singer Teresa O’Donnell for her beautiful music. We thank the Westmanstown Art Group that Conor enjoyed so much in his last years. We thank Conor’s friends and colleagues in the Dept of Electronic and Communications Engineering, formerly DIT, Kevin Street, where Conor spent many happy years, and in particular Brendan O’Sullivan, with whom Conor shared an office for almost three decades. Our sincere gratitude for the healthcare expertise and care provided by a range of teams, including Felicia Enogieru and the other care assistants. Thank you also to Cunninghams Funeral Directors. We thank our relatives, friends and neighbours for their support, company and thoughtfulness in recent and more distant times. As it would be impossible to thank everyone, please accept this as a token of our sincere gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
