Dad, Every day, I’m reminded of you in the smallest ways in the jokes that suddenly pop into my head, in the quiet acts of kindness you would’ve given so naturally, & in the strength I reach for when life feels overwhelming. You were the most loving, kind, and giving person. Your humour and the light you brought into every space will stay with us forever. I continue to miss your voice, your laugh, and the feeling of knowing you were always only a moment away. But the love you gave us is still here. It still guides, steadies, and definitely shapes the person I am today. Thank you for every sacrifice, every lesson, & every bit of love. I promise to keep making you proud. I love you, always.
