Of Fermoy, Midleton, Co Cork and his many parishes in Dublin Dioceses (Dublin and
Wicklow) (First Anniversary)
The family of the late Oliver Crotty would like to express sincere
appreciation to everyone who supported him during his sacred ministry and
for supporting and embracing his family following the sudden and sad loss
of their beloved Fr Oliver.
To all who came to his aid on the night of Saturday, September 4, 2021, we
are eternally grateful.
To His Grace the Archbishop of Dublin Dermot Farrell, his collective brethren, classmates,
beloved parishioners and choir of Glendalough, parishioners of his past
parishes in Wicklow and Dublin, a big thank you.
For his fellow fishermen, story-tellers, musicians, gardeners, nature
lovers, sport enthusiasts, golfers, many relatives and friends who sang to
raise spirits and prayed to bid Oliver a fond adieu following his departure
to eternal life. We really appreciated your time.
We appreciate everyone who attended his funeral services in person and
online, and we are grateful to Brennan Undertakers Rathdrum for their
friendship and for organising everything to perfection.
To the many of you who lined the streets to escort him home and the pupils
and teachers of Laragh and Rathdrum who stood outside their schools to bid a fond farewell.
A Mile buiochas to the many who escorted Oliver and those who waited for his arrival ahead of burial with his beloved parents in St. Michaels Cemetery,
Ballyduff Upper, Co. Waterford
Masses are being offered for all your intentions.
