EARLIE - David (Dublin). March 15, 2020. On the First Anniversary of David’s death, his wife Lisa, his children Elizabeth and Matthew, his mother Mary, his sisters Kate and Maebh, his mother-in-law Paula, brothers and sisters -in-law, wish to express sincere thanks to those who sympathised with us on the very sad loss of David (Dave). We are very grateful to all who sent messages of condolence, Mass cards, flowers and gifts, and showed support and love in so many other ways over the past year. Special thanks to the team in Churchtown medical and David’s entire medical and nursing team in St Vincent’s Private Hospital, particularly the palliative care team who were so caring to David in his final days and hours. We will never forget how you cared for him and for us. We are so thankful for the support and kindness shown to David and to us by his extended family, and his many friends and colleagues. Sincere thanks to Fr. John Callanan for celebrating his funeral Mass, to Fanagans Funeral Home and to all those who helped us to give David a small, but perfectly formed send off, despite public health restrictions. As it would not be possible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will serve as a token of our appreciation and gratitude. Dave - we love you and miss you every day. x
