SHINE, Monsignor John P. (Holy Cross Church, Tramore, Co. Waterford), February 18, 2017, (peacefully) at Waterford Nursing Home. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary, his brother Maurice and his sisters Rita, Joan, Marie, Bernie and Breeda. He will be sadly missed by his sister Ita Maher (Malahide), Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan, Bishop of Waterford and Lismore, Bishop Emeritus William Lee and the priests of the diocese. Deeply regretted by his loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and great-grandnieces, and his many relatives and friends. Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford from 4.00 - 6.00 today (Monday), February 20 with removal to Holy Cross Church, Tramore at 6.30 pm. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Tuesday), February 21 at 2.00 pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.'Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam'.
