DONOHUE Sr. Deanna OLA (Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Apostles, Ardfoyle Convent, Ballintemple, Cork and Grattan Street, Portlaoise). Remembering Deanna on the First Anniversary of her death, August 31, 2016, her sister and brothers would like to acknowledge the support, friendship and hospitality of the OLA sisters and SMA priests in Dublin, Cork, Nigeria and Tanzania to Deanna during her religious life and to our family. We would like to offer our sincere thanks to those who showed great kindness and support during Deanna's very brief illness at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny, particularly to family and colleagues of her religious community who kept constant vigil by her side during her final days. We thank the medical, palliative care and pastoral teams for the exceptional care and dignity shown to Deanna during the short time she was in their care. Thank you to all Deanna's relations and friends who attended her repose at Keegan's Funeral Home in Portlaoise and to Fr. Eddie Lalor who offered prayers at her removal to the OLA convent for the Funeral Mass in Ballintemple, Cork. Thanks to the many people who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and floral tributes and who offered personal condolences and to those who attended the Funeral Mass and burial in Ardfoyle Convent in Cork. Thanks to the chief celebrant, Rev Fr. Tony Gill SMA and to Sr. Kathleen McGarvey OLA Provincial for their uplifting eulogies on Deanna's missionary life. Thanks also to the OLA choir for their beautiful serene and consoling music and to the many SMA priests who concelebrated her Funeral Mass. We are very grateful. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all of your intentions. May Deanna Rest in Peace.
