EVANS, Pauline (née Dagg) - died October 7, 2014. David, together with Jonathan and Lisa, would like to express our gratitude to our extended family, friends and neighbours for their kindness and support following Pauline's passing, and to say that the many letters and cards they sent were greatly appreciated. We would also like to thank Pauline's many friends who wrote to her during her illness and to let them know how much their kind words and thoughts meant to her at such a difficult time. Our sincere thanks is also extended to the very many who attended Pauline's cremation service in Glasnevin. It was heart-warming for us to see and hear of the affection with which Pauline was held by so many. We especially thank the members of The Island Golf Club, particularly the ladies who provided such a long guard of honour for their Captain; Pauline's fellow members and friends from Deer Park Golf Club, CRC Bridge Club, Howth Parish Bridge Club, her own very active book club; and her friends of many years from her badminton and tennis life. Finally, we thank the Home Care Teams from St. Francis' Hospice and the HSE in Clontarf for their unremitting and dedicated care of Pauline while she was at home. It is impossible for us to thank everyone individually so we trust that this Acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deep gratitude to all.
