BRESLIN, Dr Desmond Anthony Colum (Colum). (Rathgar, Dublin 6 and late of Bellaghy, Co. Derry and Mater Misericordiae Hospital). June 11, 2023 - after a life well lived. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the compassionate care of the wonderful staff of the Community Nursing Unit, Clonskeagh. Beloved husband to Eileen and devoted father to John, Elaine, Colum, Niall and Dara. Adored Grandpa to Sophie, Paddy, Emily, Lisa, Nick, James, Charlie, JP, Ellie, Michael, Collie, Hugo, Tommy and Amy. Sadly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, son-in-law Conor and daughters-in-law Sarah, Rhona, Anna and Eimer, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends and colleagues. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum this (Tuesday) evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) morning to the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar Road arriving for Funeral; Mass at 11.00am (which can be viewed live at www.rathgarparish.ie/webcam/) followed by cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only please. He loved, and was loved.
