MOORE - Fr. Gerard, OFM, Guatemala City, (late El Salvador, Swords, Co. Dublin) died April 1, 2025 lovingly surrounded by his Franciscan Community and his niece Emer. Predeceased by his parents Bridie and Charlie, his brother Rory and brother-in-law Gary Westby. Very sadly missed by his sisters Maura (Westby) and Breda (Butler), brothers Cathal, Liam, and Frank. Sisters-in-law Ailbhe, Barbara and Madi. Brother-in-law Brendan, his nieces, nephews, grandnieces grandnephews relatives and friends. Fr Gerard's Funeral Mass was celebrated in the Parroquia Inmaculado Corazon de Maria, Guatemala City on April 3, 2025.Â

A Memorial Mass will be held in Merchant's Quay Friary Dublin later.
