McCARTHY, (Rathbride, The Curragh, Co. Kildare), March 13, 2020. Stephen, predeceased by his father Peter. Sadly mourned by his loving mother Mary, his brother Peter, his sisters Alyson, Sally, and special friend Belinda, brother-in-law David, sister-in-law Fiona, nephews Jack and William, relatives and his many friends. A celebration of Stephen's life will be announced at a later date.

On the occasion of Stephen's first anniversary his mother Mary, brother Peter, sisters Alyson and Sally Anne wish to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to all who sympathised with them on their sad loss. The many floral tributes, Mass cards and letters of condolence were greatly appreciated. Special thanks to Prof. Peter Conlon, doctors, nurses and staff in the Renal Unit Beaumont Hospital for the exceptional care and support given to Stephen over so many years. Greatful appreciation and thanks to Prof. Brendan McAdam, Mr Lars Nolke and the team of doctors and nurses in CCU Beaumont Hospital and Mater Hospital. Stephen showed admirable strength of character, courage, resilience and optimism during what was to be his final year with us.

He will be greatly missed but so fondly remembered by all who knew him well.
