SHARKEY, Aidan (Sandymount, Dublin, late of the Assay Office Dublin and co-founder and former Chairman of The Asthma Society of Ireland) - 23rd October 2022 (peacefully surrounded by his family) after a long illness, in the loving care of Dorota Olkowska, Adrian Woods and the wonderful team at Ashbury Nursing Home. We would also like to thank Liam Tidy who took such wonderful care of Aidan during his last months at home. Beloved husband of the late Carmel, treasured father of Susan and Mary Claire, fondly remembered by his grandchildren Serge, Sebastien, Lilli, Layla and Eva, son-in-law Yves, loved sister-in-law Pam, brother-in-law Vincent and the late Leo, nephews, nieces and extended family and friends. A private Funeral Service took place last week in accordance with Aidan’s wishes. Donations if desired, to Blackrock Hospice, Sweetman’s Avenue, Blackrock, Co. Dublin (www.olh.ie).
