GRIMES, Captain Fergal (Clonlara, Co. Clare. Formerly of Mayorstone, Limerick. Late of Aer Lingus and Virgin Atlantic). January 17th 2022 peacefully at Milford Care Centre. Beloved husband and best friend of Angela (née Horsfall). Cherished son of Mary B. and the late Eddie. Dearly loved brother of Fintan, Enda, Lelia and Siobhán. Sadly missed by his loving brothers-in-law Tim (Danagher), Paul (Reynolds), Seán (O’Driscoll) and Geoff (Horsfall), sisters-in–law Miriam (Grimes), Janet (O’Driscoll) and Katrina (Horsfall), father-in-law Derek Horsfall, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family in Ireland and Canada and friends. Requiem Mass will take place in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road, tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11.00am. A private cremation service will take place. Fergal’s Requiem Mass will be live streamed on www.ourladyoftherosary parishlimerick.ie/web-cam/ Family flowers only please, donations to Milford Care Centre. In the interests of public health, attendance at the Service will be restricted in line with social distancing protocols and government guidelines. Cards and messages of sympathy can be sent to Thompson’s, Thomas Street, Limerick. May he Rest in Peace.
