DUFFY, Tony ("Glenross", Seamount, Salthill, Galway, formerly of Navan and Dublin, late of Office of Public Works) - November 4, 2011 (peacefully) at the Galway Clinic; much loved husband of Mary (nee Cahill), devoted father of Carol, Ronan, Norman, Sara Kennelly and Lynn, father-in-law of Helen Fitzgerald Duffy and Kevin Kennelly, grandfather of Mary, Jill, Joe and Barry Greene, Cian, Oisin and Fionn Duffy, and Aisling and Emma Kennelly who gave him so much pleasure in his old age. Survived by his brothers Rev. Michael Duffy SSC and John Duffy, sisters Gene McMahon, Sighle Prunty and Sr. Imelda Duffy (Loreto Mullingar), sisters-in-law Phyllis and Mai Duffy, Pixie, Jackie and Maura Cahill, brothers-in-law Conor McMahon, Malachy Prunty, Pat and Tom Cahill, and his faithful long time friends. Reposing at the family home tomorrow (Sunday) from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral to Rahoon cemetery on Monday (November 7) following Requiem Mass at 12 noon at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. May he rest in peace.
