HEHIR Brendan (Late of Bangor, Co. Down and formerly of Balinteer, Dublin and Lismore) August 15, 2020, peacefully surrounded by his devoted family and in the wonderful care of the staff at the Ulster Hospital. Much loved husband of Zita, a wonderful dad to Derek, Joanna, Lucy and Susan and proud grandfather to Lauren-Marie, Jake, Finn, Ailill, Faye, Mia, Lily, Benjamin and Louis. Brendan was predeceased by his lovely sister, Elayne. Fondly remembered by his extended family in Australia, America, Germany and the Republic of Ireland, friends and colleagues from RTE Dublin and UTV and BBC Belfast. A private funeral will take place tomorrow (Thursday). Condolences may be forwarded via https://brendanhehir.muchloved.com/ Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Cancer Research or the Heart Foundation.A man full of love and fun.
