MONKS Valerie Barbara (née Coleman) 1941-2014 - In the wonderful care of the doctors and nurses at Cold Lake Health Care Centre, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2014 in Cold Lake, AB. Valerie, much loved wife of 49 years to Don Monks; niece: Barbara Mallin; great-niece: Naomi Mallin; great-nephew: Jonathan Mallin. May she Rest in Peace. Valerie was pre-deceased by her parents: James and Barbara Coleman; sister: Colette Massey in 2014. Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service was held at Lakeview Cemetery, Cold Lake, AB. Memorial tributes in memory of Valerie may be sent to Cold Lake Health Centre Palliative Care Program, 314-25 Street, Cold Lake, Alberta T9M 1G6.
