O'MALLEY - Jane (née Harris), (Physicianstown) (Callan, Co. Kilkenny, and formerly of St. Ives, Cornwall and Canada) - Peacefully in the exceptional care of Staff at Aut Even Hospital, Kilkenny on Saturday, June 3, 2023. Predeceased by her loving husband Tony. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing family, her brother Chris, her sister-in-law Rita, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Reposing in Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan(R95 Y443) today (Tuesday) from 5.00pm concluding with Vigil Prayers at 7.00pm. Funeral Prayers tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10.00am followed by Removal to Church of the Assumption, Callan for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Burial will follow afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan. The Requiem Mass can be viewed live on the following link; www.churchmedia.ie (Callan Parish).

I am shocked and saddened to read that Jane has recently passed away, just when I was about to give her a call to have an update chat! Time has slipped away far too much; we were friends from her time in Switzerland and she gave me a couple of her pen & ink drawings from that time which, I still cherish and look at! Oh, I am very saddened; she had a lovely bubbly demeanour and exuded happiness when-ever we met or chatted on the phone which wasn't often enough! RIP Jane
