CONLON, The death has occurred, peacefully, of Tom Conlon of Buenos Aires Court, Strandhill, Co. Sligo on 21st August 2023, in the exceptional care of St. John’s Hospital, Sligo. Beloved husband of Phil Conlon (née Mullen) and much loved father of Niamh Muldowney and Shane Conlon (New York). Predeceased by his grandsons Emmet Conlon and Dáire Muldowney. He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter, son, son-in-law Adrian, daughter-in-law Dorene, grandchildren Laoise, Cian, Shane, Lilliana and Dashiel, sisters and brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis. Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Wednesday evening from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral will arrive to St. Patrick’s Church, Strandhill, Co. Sligo on Thursday afternoon for Requiem Mass at 2:00pm, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St. John’s Patient Comfort Fund, care of The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home.
