DUNNE, Joseph (Cross Street, Kells) - 24th January 2021, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of Noeline (née Mullen) and loving father to Rosemarie (Carty), Anne (Givney), Michael and Oonagh (Reilly). Predeceased by his brother Francis. Survived by his sisters Mary, Bernie and Anne (Dublin), his brothers-in-law Dan and Paddy, sister-in-law Frances, sons-in-law Padraic, John and Zak, daughter-in-law Mary, his cherished grandchildren Jonathan, David, Barry, Ailbhe, Ciaran, Karen, Mark, Luke and Callum and great-grandchildren Jax and Odhran. Rest in Peace. Joseph's funeral cortege will depart Cross Street at 10.30am on tomorrow (Tuesday) 26th January for private funeral Mass at 11 o'clock in St. Colmcille's Church with burial afterwards in St. Colmcille's Cemetery. On the first anniversary of Joseph's death, Noeline, Rosemarie, Anne, Michael, Oonagh and Joseph's sisters, Mary, Bernie and Anne would like to sincerely acknowledge all those who extended their sympathy and support over the past year. We would like to thank all the friends, neighbours and customers for the kindness shown to us. Our gratitude goes to all those who sent cards, flowers, letters, reminiscences and condolences. A special thank you to our extended families for their understanding and practical help. Thank you to all the families and friends who stood outside the house and church and to those who watched Joseph's funeral Mass on the church's webcam. We were very touched and deeply appreciate all your thoughts and prayers for Joseph whom we miss every day.
Joseph's first anniversary mass will take place on Sunday, January 23, at 12:15 p.m. in St. Colmcille's Church, Kells.
