McDONNELL, Eileen, (née O'Connor), (Foxrock, Dublin), February 19, 2017, (peacefully) at home in the care of her loving family, beloved wife of the late Kevin, loved and very sadly missed by her daughters Mary (Dillon), Eva (O'Sullivan), Anne (Molloy), Joan (Aylmer), her son Conor, sons-in-law Frank, Bobby, Eddie and Michael, daughter-in-law Mary and her adoring thirteen grandchildren Kevin, Elaine, Beth, Ciara, Joan, Niamh, Michael, Edward, Jacqueline, Tommy, Conor, Kevin and Nora and eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace. Removal tomorrow (Tuesday) to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock arriving at 6.00 pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10.00 am followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired, to the Blackrock Hospice. House Private.
McDONNELL, Eileen, (née O'Connor) Foxrock, Dublin 18 - On this, the First Anniversary of her passing, her daughters, Mary, Eva, Anne and Joan, her son Conor, sons-in-law Frank, Bobby, Eddie and Michael, daughter-in-law Mary and her grandchildren wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us at the time of her death and afterwards. We thank particularly our relatives, friends, neighbours in Foxrock, and members of Elm Park Golf Club for their support. To those who travelled long distances, visited the house, attended the funeral Mass and burial, we express our sincere gratitude. We also want to acknowledge the Masses, prayers and messages of sympathy. We offer our deep appreciation to the concelebrants of the funeral Mass and the parish priest of Foxrock, Fr. Frank Herron. We would especially like to thank Fr. Kevin Hegarty, celebrant of the funeral Mass, for the wonderful way he reminded us of Eileen's life during the celebration. Thanks to the Past Captains of Elm Park Golf Club who provided a guard of honour. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. We miss Eileen every day, she is always in our thoughts. Her First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Saturday February 24, her birthday, at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock at 10 am.
