CODY, - Desmond Robert, (Clane, Co. Kildare and formerly Abbeyshrule, Co. Longford, and Cromlyn, Co. Westmeath); 4th April 2025, peacefully, in his 89th year, after a short illness. Deeply missed by his loving wife Betty, his daughters Eleanor, Susan and Bevin, his sons-in-law Jorge, Michael and Duncan and his grandchildren Tim, Xanath, Citlali, Millie, James, Elizabeth and John. Brother of the late Eileen (McBain). Reposing at St. Peter’s Church, Donadea, Co. Kildare (W91 VK59) on Tuesday, (8 April) from 4pm to 6pm, with prayers at 5.30pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate Desmond’s life will be held on Wednesday, (9 April) at 11am (in St. Peter's) followed by burial at St. Michael and All Angels graveyard, Millicent, Co.
