A Legend

Father McCabe actually cared about us all. At More House we gave him hell constantly, and he tirelessly worked to help us all and give us a stable base. When my mother died Fr McCabe immediately said yes to a request to do her funeral.

He's one of those people you always just thought would be around. Life seems different knowing he's not around anymore.

Sadly I never got to thank him for the stable influence he provided in my life. The lessons he taught me have stuck with me today, such as 'It takes a bigger man to walk away'.

I'm the person I am today because of the time I spent at More House.

I'll miss him forever,

Ryan Paul

Father Ken

We have known Father Ken for in excess of 30years. First met him as a teenager when he was doing outreach work for London children. Years later our paths crossed again when I was working as a local authority social worker placing children in his home at More House, London. Father Ken always gave more than 100% of himself to the young people and cared passionately about his work. He was never afraid to speak up against injustice.

We were delighted when he agreed to be the Godfather to our son. He will be greatly missed.

May he rest in peace.

John and Marion O'Loughlin
