SMILEY, (née Dalton) Mona (Dundrum) - 16 June 2020, peacefully in the care of Glebe House Nursing Home, Kilternan. Beloved wife, of 59 years, of Ronny, much loved mother of Gillian and Alan and adored grandmother of Carl. Very sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law Billy, brother Michael (New York), sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by her sisters Kay and Mary and brothers Liam and Nick. May her gentle soul rest in peace. Due to current restrictions a private funeral will take place. Mona’s funeral cortege will pause at her home on Saturday morning (20 June) at 9.40 am and her Funeral Mass can be viewed at this link https://www.mountmerrionparish.ie/webcam/ on Saturday morning at 10 am.

Gillian and Alan, We have lost touch but Mona visited my dreams last night so I checked up today and learned she that she passed away during the lock down. You must miss her, she was a great character. My love to you both, Brigid Clarke
