HERON, (née McCarthy) Helen (Maghera) R.I.P. December 12, 2019. (quilter and teacher), died peacefully at Robinson Memorial Hospital, Ballymoney surrounded by her loving children. Beloved mother of Stephen, Ruth and Caroline. Daughter of the late Dr. Patrick Bernard and Sheila McCarthy and dear sister of Fr. Brian, Kieran, Nora, Sheila, Colette, Austin and the late Anne and Paul. Deeply regretted by the large extended Heron & McCarthy families and her many friends in the sewing and theatre groups. Funeral from her home Five Mile Straight tomorrow (Saturday) at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of the Holy Rosary Draperstown Co. Derry. Private cremation to follow. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. No flowers please. All donations to St Lurach's branch of the St Vincent De Paul, Maghera. "Be not afraid"
