BERGIN, (née Doherty), Margaret Teresa (Marguerite) DM, (Killiney, Co. Dublin, and formerly of Wynnefield Park, Rathmines), December 2, 2020. Suddenly after a short illness in the care of St. Vincent’s University Hospital and her family. Beloved wife of the late Donal, adored mother to Carol-Anne, Nana to Connie and baby Daniel. Loving sister of Francis Robert (Robin) and the late Niall and John. Fondly remembered by her son in law Ian (Wallace). Marguerite will be very sadly missed by her daughter, brother, son-in law, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, her adored nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, extended family, large circle of close friends and neighbours. Rest in Peace. Carol-Anne would like to express her gratitude and appreciation to all of the staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital, in particular the Intensive Care team and the surgical team under Ann Hanly for their devoted care of Marguerite over the past few months. She would also like to thank those who have offered all forms of support while Marguerite fought her short illness so bravely and shared kind thoughts and memories which painted a picture of the wonderful and special person that Marguerite was. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to St. Vincent’s Foundation (http://www.stvincentsfoundation.ie/). In accordance with government guidance, a private family Funeral Mass will take place this (Monday) morning, at 11.00 am, which may be viewed on https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/ss-alphonsus-columba-church-ballybrack.
