MOONEY Ted (Edward) (Tavira, Portugal, formerly Carlow) aged seventy-three, died after a long battle with cancer on June 27, 2019 in Faro, Portugal. Beloved husband and father is survived by his wife Breeda and children Michelle, Niall and Edward. He will be sadly missed by his large circle of friends in Tavira and Dublin, his sisters Elsie and Marie, all the Bolger family, his engineering colleagues from the class of '68 UCD. A service will be held for Ted at a later date in Ireland.

Deepest sympathy to Ted’s wife and family from a school classmate of Ted. I sat beside him in St Joseph’s at age 7 and 8 and looked up to him then and in later years as a fine person. RHB.
