O'NEILL - Alexander Rory, MRCVS, retired Veterinary Surgeon, Abbeyfield, Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo. Friday April 4, 2025, peacefully at home, in his 91st year. Predeceased by his parents Lex and Bess, sister Auveen. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Finola (Fin), his family, Lorcan and partner Luca (Rome), Auveen and husband Dr. Joe Curran (Clonbur), Fergal, Edel, Rory and husband Anderson (Dublin) and Clare, grandchildren Lizzie, Caoimhe and Fionn, siblings Máire (Los Angeles), Con (Cavan), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, friends and colleagues. The family wish to acknowledge the invaluable support of all his carers. May his gentle soul Rest in Peace. Reposing at his residence (F31 WC65) on Sunday evening (April 6) from 4 o'clock until 7 o'clock. Funeral cortege will arrive to St. Mary's Church, Ballinrobe on Monday morning (April 7) at 11 o'clock for Requiem Mass at 11.30, with the Funeral proceeding to the new Cemetery Ballinrobe. Rory's Funeral Mass can be viewed on Church TV.ie /Ballinrobe. The family would like to thank you for your co-operation and consideration at this difficult time.Â
