DUFFY, (née Smith) Ursula Joy (Joy), (Rathfarnham formerly Dundrum Co. Dublin) June 11, 2021, peacefully in the care of Gascoigne House Nursing Home, Rathmines. Loving wife of the late Walter for 45 years; loving mother, sadly missed by David, Mark, Wayne, Sandra and Alan, by her daughters-in-law Valerie, Ena, Helen, and Caroline, son-in law Peter and Wayne’s partner Nijole. Also by her grandchildren, Ben, Rachel and Gavin, Philip, Megan and Ellen, Daniel and Laura, Jan, Bjorn and Aileen, Jane and Julia, eight great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. Joy’s funeral will be held in accordance with current guidelines, at Mount Jerome Crematorium at 10.00am Saturday, June 19 and can be viewed on-line: https://vimeo.com/event/153499. The family would like to express their enormous gratitude to the staff and management of Gascoigne House Nursing Home for the exceptional care provided to her over the past seven years. Family flowers only – donations in lieu of flowers to Gascoigne House Nursing Home. Joy in name and joy in spirit.
