PIEL, Paul Desmond William (Des) - February 9, 2012, aged 74 years, in the care of the compassionate staff of St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin. A wonderful husband and best friend to Janette and adored father of Caroline (Handschuh) and Derek, and father-in-law of Harald, he will be loved always and sadly missed by his beloved grandchildren Cian and Adam, and by Derek's fiancée Jo-Ann. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday (February 15) at 2pm at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross, Dublin. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to St. Vincent's Hospital for medical research or equipment (www.stvincentsfoundation.ie).
