FITZGERALD - Paudie, (Lispole and Tralee, Co. Kerry), (December 3, 2020). On the first anniversary of Paudie's death, his wife Joan together with his children Mary, Helen, Dominic, Patrick, Thomas and John, stepchildren Dan, Fergal, Justin and Aishling, grandchildren, great grandchildren, his sister Joan, extended family and wide circle of friends and colleagues, remember him with much love and respect.
We would like to say how much we greatly appreciate the many Mass cards and messages of condolence, which were of an enormous comfort to us at a time when we were unable to meet in person. For the many acts of kindness shown to us and those who sent floral tributes, thank you. To those who gathered outside the church in terrible weather conditions and walked with Paudie to his final resting place, especially the staff, past and present, of P&T Fitzgerald, thank you. We thank Fr Michael for officiating the funeral Mass and to those who watched the mass online at a time when we couldn't be together, your presence was felt. We know you would have been there if you could. Sincere thanks to everyone in the Bons Secours, Hospital in Tralee who looked after Paudie during his life and in his final days. A special mass has been said for your intentions. It is not possible to thank everyone individually, so please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude. We will be forever grateful for having Paudie in our lives. He has gone now to his eternal rest with his parents, his first wife Eileen, his daughter Christina, his brother Tom, other friends and family who predeceased him. Go dtí go mbuailfimid arís, slán go fóil.
