CLUNE, Joan, Colonel (Retd.) Royal Army Nursing Corp (Allendale, Limerick/Blackheath, London/Danganbrack, Quin, Co. Clare) - On October 23rd 2023, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the care of the kind staff at University Hospital Limerick and Milford Nursing Home; predeceased by her brother Bobby, her sisters Carrie and Ann Reidy and earlier this year by her niece Liz Canny. Sadly missed by her nieces Joan and Geraldine O'Connell, nephew Timmy, her sister-in-law Beatrice, brother-in-law Paddy Reidy, niece-in-law Úna, nephews-in-law Padraic and Aidan, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Quin Church on (Wednesday), October 25th from 6pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am with burial afterwards in Kildrum Cemetery, Quin. For those who wish to attend, but cannot, Joan's Funeral Mass can be viewed on http://www.quinclooneymagheraparish.ie/web-cam/ Messages of condolence can be left in the condolence section on rip.ie or by email to info@dalyfunerals.com.

My dearest friend Joan, I'm so shocked to have just read about your passing last October, my heart is broken as none of the family contacted me. I was in her mobile on WhatsApp & could have been contacted. My very special golfing ⛳️ partner at Royal Blackheath, London & the London Irish Medical golfing society.
