BENNETT, (Jean), January 30, 2019, aged 90 years. Formerly of Strawhall and Kilkenny Road, Carlow. Loving wife of the late Jack, and adored and much loved mother of Lynne (Hughes) and Ian. In the tender care of the wonderful staff of Altadore Nursing Home Glenageary. Sadly missed by her son-in-law Frank and daughter-in-law Jane. Most wonderful granny to Jessica (and husband Andrew), Christopher (and wife Lucianne), Jennifer (and husband Jeremy), Claire and Joanna, and doting great-granny to Robyn, Mylo and Daisy. Jean will be fondly remembered by her relatives and wide circle of friends who cherish her thoughtfulness and warmth. Service of Thanksgiving at 6 pm, tomorrow (Friday) in Dun Laoghaire Methodist Church. Funeral Service at 12 noon, Saturday next, in Carlow Methodist Church, Athy Road, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dublin Road, Carlow. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Samaritans. ‘In heavenly love abiding’
