HICKSON, Mary

HICKSON - (née Doyle), Mary, Dublin Road, Arklow, Co Wicklow and formerly of Pearse Street, Gorey, Co Wexford. Peacefully at home on September 11, 2025, attended by her wonderful carers and the nurses of Wicklow Hospice, and with her devoted family by her side. Beloved wife of Barry, loving mother of Bryan and much-loved sister of Ted and the late Liam. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing husband, son, daughter-in-law Emma, her cherished grandchildren Josh and Amy, her brother, brother-in-law Robert, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many dear friends. Reposing at Sweeneys Funeral Home, Arklow from 2 oclock until 5 oclock tomorrow Sunday. Removal on Monday morning at 9.30 to St. Josephs Church, Templerainey arriving for Requiem Mass at 10 oclock. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the church webcam. Funeral afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium where Marys committal service will be celebrated at 1 oclock in the Victorian Chapel.
