MacNAMEE, Canon David (Glenroe and Limerick) who died on February 19, 2013 - Canon David's brother, Canon Michael, his sister-in-law Mary, nephews and nieces wish to extend our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us; to those who attended the removal, Requiem Mass and burial. Special thanks to Bishop-Elect Brendán Leahy, Diocesan Administrator Fr. Tony Mullins, Bishop Donal Murray, Fr. Michael Noonan P.P. and Fr. Tom Ryan. Many thanks to his fellow priests who attended the Requiem Mass in such large numbers and to those who travelled long distances to be with us. Thanks also to his doctors, nurses, carers and all the staff of St. John's Hospital. Special thanks to all the members of the Lourdes Hospitalité, to the Parish Pastoral Council, parishioners and friends for their support and kindness. Grateful thanks to the soloists and members of the Raheen Choir for the beautiful music which so enhanced the liturgies. Sincerest thanks to Donie O'Grady, Undertaker for his assistance and professionalism. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. A Novena of Masses has been offered for your intentions. The Month's Mind Mass for Canon David will take place on Friday March 22 at 7.30pm in St. Nessan's Church, Raheen.
