McVEY, Dr. Paul (Pops), (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and St. Anthony's Medical Clinic, Cabra, Dublin 7), December 5, 2016, (peacefully) after a long illness borne with characteristic courage and determination and in the loving care of the staff at The Mater Hospital. Paul will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Dolores, sons Gerard, Ruaidhrí and Alexis, grandchildren Alice, Ellen, Rose, Paul, Coco, Vivienne and Mimi, daughters-in-law Louise, Yvonne and Sinead, sisters Ita, Geraldine and Una, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing at Cunningham's Funeral Home, Church Ave., Blanchardstown tomorrow (Wednesday) evening between 6 o'c and 8 o'c with removal to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Navan Road on Thursday morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Castleknock Churchyard. Family flowers only, please. Donations if desired to St. Vincent De Paul, 91 Annamoe Terrace, Dublin 7."nolite timere"
