SOMERS, (Ballykelly, Monasterevin, Co. Kildare, and formerly of Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow) - October 23, 2023. Richard (Dick), peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Oghill Nursing Home. Beloved husband of the late Margaret and loving father of Angela, Brian, Eleanor and Dermot. Deeply regretted by his children, daughters-in-law Fiona and Maggie, sons-in-law Seamus and Joe, grandchildren James, Andrew, Seàn, Àine, Sarah, Joe, Mark, Harry, Èamon, Ella and Nuala, sister Maura, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at the Chapel of Rest, Canal Harbour, Monasterevin (Eircode W34 N599) today (Wednesday) from 4pm to 8pm, with Funeral Prayers at 7pm. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) morning arriving at St. Peter and Paul's Church, Monasterevin for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Evin's Cemetery.
