GORMLEY, (née McGale) Monica (Dundrum and formerly of Dublin Road, Omagh) January 29, 2019 (suddenly) at home. Devoted wife and friend of the late Pat. Much loved mother and best friend of Paula and Michaela and dearest Nana Mum to Cathal, Conor, Cara and Aoibhín and the late baby Rory. Sadly missed by her loving daughters, loving brothers Dermot and Eugene, sons-in-law Ken Sharkey and Jonathan Lynch, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, her many friends and neighbours and her “Uncle Tom’s Ladies”. Reposing at her home from 2 pm today (Thursday) afternoon. Funeral tomorrow (Friday) 2019 at Shanganagh Cemetery after 12 pm Mass in the Church of the Divine Word, Marley Grange. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to the Brother Kevin Capuchin Centre and The Down Syndrome Centre Dublin. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis Slán Abhaile.

Michaela, her brother Eugene McGale and their families wish to thank everyone for their kindness, support and expressions of sympathy on the sudden death of Monica, our lovely Mum, Nana Mum, sister and friend. We wish to thank our many friends, family and neighbours who visited our
home, attended the wake and funeral, to those who phoned, travelled long
distances and sent messages and cards. We thank you also for the donations to the Down Syndrome Centre and Brother Kevin’s Capuchin Centre. Thank you to Fr. Jim Mulherin OSM, Fr. Colm McGlynn OSM for Mum's lovely funeral Mass and to the bereavement team and everyone in Church of the
Divine Word, Marley Grange, for all their kindness and support. Thank you also to our family friends Fr Eamon Kavanagh CSsR, Fr Kevin Browne CSsR and Fr. Paul Turley CSsR who travelled to Dublin to concelebrate at Mum’s
funeral Mass. To everyone, we are truly grateful for all your love and support. Please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our heartfelt thanks. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
