McKENNA, Prof T Joseph (Joe)

I learned you lost Joe last month and I want to offer you and the children my deepest sympathies. Many people will miss him because he was a wonderful man and was loved by many. The memory I share is when the four of us will go out to the Irish pub in Nashville. We had a good time eating pizza with sangria and going after dinner in the basement to listen to Irish music.

HARDY, Kay (Kathleen)

My mum in law was a lovely Lady, Her smile lit up any room , an infectious laugh & a gentle personality. 85 years old , a lifetime of family life , married for over 61 years to her devoted husband Barry who passed away 13th November 2021. Loving Mum to Trisha (My wife) & Brother in Law Barry . Kay was always beautifully dressed and made many friends where ever she went. Always loved entertaining at home with numerous get togethers over the years. From her home Greenlea park, to Kings Avenue Minnis Bay in Kent & with the help of Her Daughter, when both Mum & Dad came to Perran Downs in Cornwall after they came to live with us, from September 2018 , we all helped out celebrating St Patricks day & Both Mum & Dads Birthdays. For Trisha & I ,A most Notable occasion was Mum & Dad Hardy's 60th Wedding anniversary, 18th February 2020, when we had over 30 guests (Friends, Neighbours & Carers) at the Sandbar overlooking Praa Sands here in Cornwall) It was a surprise event for them. Such a wonderful event, with a long wedding style banqueting table, lovely food, merry banter. A Blessing from Pope Francis arrived for the Anniversary too. I have many fond memories of my Mother in Law Kay Hardy. From the day I first was introduced to Mum & Dad now over 26 years ago, I found her to be a very kind human being, a lovely lady & above all , Everything a Mum should be. As always, I have lots to say! but I'll leave it here for now. When My mum passed away in June 2000 , Kay became my Mum. I came to know her, Loved her dearly & I treasured every moment we all had together. You are now back with Dad , in a peaceful place where you belong. We will all meet again in another place .But not just yet Rest In Peace Mum
