O'CONNELL - Finnbarr, Sea Road, Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow and formerly Wilton Villas, Glasheen Road, Cork,

Finnbarr passed away peacefully at the Fern Dean Nursing Home in Stepaside on Tuesday, 28th July, 2026. Predeceased by his parents John and Kathleen, siblings Claire and Eddie and daughter-in-law Anita. Sadly missed by his loving sons, John and Finn, his daughter, Sinéad, his grandchildren, Sabine, Amy, Tadhg, Lucy and Finn, and by his extended family, neighbours and friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at the William Doyle Funeral Home, Kilcoole, from 5pm until 7pm on Tuesday, 4th August. Funeral arriving at St. Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole, on Wednesday, 5th August, for Funeral Mass at 11.30am, after which Finnbarr will be laid to rest in Kilquade New Cemetery.

Patrick J, Donnybrook, Dublin 4 (formerly of Galway) – 31st July 2026 peacefully surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of Our Lady's Hospice, Blackrock. Patrick, predeceased by his brother Michael (Millie) and loving son Brendan, deeply missed and forever loved by wife Mary, children David, Sheila (Morris), Margaret (Jones), and Peter, and grandchildren Thomas, Matthew, Grace, Hannah, George, Patrick, Sienna, Cleo and Hugo. Sadly missed by his family, his daughters-in-law, Martina, Anna and Emma, sons-in-law Redmond and Mark, his siblings Mary and Bert, extended family and wide circle of friends. Reposing at Massey Brothers Funeral Home, Unit 1, The Goat Centre Lower Kilmacud Road, Goatstown, on Tuesday evening (4th of August 2026) from 5.00 pm until 7.00 pm with family in attendance. Removal on Wednesday morning (5th of August 2026) to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00 o’clock, and thence to the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross for a private committal service.
