MYLER - Thomas (Dundrum and formerly of the Liberties) 28th July 2026 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff in St. Vincent’s University Hospital in his 94th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Elizabeth. He will be deeply missed by his children Jackie, Ciarán, Colin, Sinéad and Vivian and by all his extended family and friends. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum this (Thursday) afternoon from 3pm to 5pm. Removal tomorrow (Friday) morning to the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.30 am followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery.

BYRNE - Seamus (Mount Merrion, Dublin) 28th July 2026. Peacefully, in the care of St Vincent’s University Hospital, in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Philomena (Phyllis) and devoted father to Conor and Dermot. Deeply regretted by his sons, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home Dundrum on Thursday evening (30th July) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday morning (31st July) to the Church of St Thérèse, Mount Merrion arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.

O'CALLAGHAN - Jim (Ballincollig and late of Stradbally, Co. Laois)

On July 28, 2026 peacefully at Cork University Hospital, surrounded by his family, Jim, beloved husband of Maeve (Burke) and loving father of John and Darragh. Sadly missed by his wife, sons, sister Mary, nephews John and Michael, grandnieces, grandnephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.

Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig on Thursday (30th July) from 7pm to 8pm for visitation. Requiem Mass on Friday (31st) at 12noon at the Church of St Mary and St John, Ballincollig which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/stmjballincollig . Funeral afterwards to St Oliver’s Cemetery. Jim’s family would like to thank the staff at Cork University Hospital and South Infirmary Victoria Hospital for the care given to him.

GRAHAM - Godfrey, (Glenageary, Co. Dublin) July 28th, 2026, peacefully at Earlsbrook Nursing Home Bray. Godfrey, beloved husband of the late Sheila, loving father of Lisa, Ian and Rachel. Sadly missed by his children, son-in law Ger, adored grandchildren Adam, Ben, Ava and Charlotte, great-grandchildren Izzy and Alex, along with Adam’s wife Mary and Ben's partner Cailin. Remembering also Godfrey’s late sister Margaret and brother Roger. Rest in Peace. Removal on Friday morning, to Church of the Assumption, Dalkey, arriving for 10 o’c Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

O'BRIEN - Edward, (Eddie), Glenageary, Co. Dublin (formerly of Rialto, Dublin 8), July 25th, 2026, peacefully at the Fern Dean Nursing Home Blackrock with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Maeve, he will be deeply missed by his loving wife and children Shane, Maeve and Conor, grandchildren Patrick, Sophia and Alexis, daughter-in-law Mette, son-in-law Olivier, brother Joseph, nieces, nephews and relatives. Predeceased by his daughter Aoife, brother Austin and sister Anne. Rest in Peace. Removal on Friday morning (31st July), to the Church of St. Patrick, Carrickbrennan Road, Monkstown, arriving for an 11am Funeral Service followed by a committal/cremation service in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross.
