BYRNE, Gail (née Richards) (Malahide and formerly of Douglas Road, Cork) -18th September 2020 peacefully at home with her family, after a long illness borne with immense fortitude, beloved wife of Donal, much loved mother of Ian, Gillian and David, sister to Victor and the late Carmel. Sadly missed by her adored grandsons Robbie, Jamie, Evan and Noah, son-in-law Gary, daughter-in-law Emma, sisters and brothers-in-law Cora, Fionnuala, Jean, Pam, Terry and Tom, extended family and a wide circle of cherished friends. A private funeral will take place on Tuesday, 22nd September, at 11am in the Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart, Yellow Walls, Seabury, Malahide. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please feel free to send their condolences in the usual manner. Family flowers only by request. COSTELLO, Matthew (Churchtown, Dublin 14) – September 17, 2020, peacefully, at home, devoted and beloved husband of Hazel, loving father of David, Avril and Ivan and adoring grandfather of his nine grandchildren; deeply regretted by his daughters-in-law Wendy and Jen and son-in-law Baden. A true gent and loving soul, will be greatly missed by his many friends and loved ones. Funeral and house private.
