O'DONNELL, Jim, (Blackrock. Co Dublin and Navan, Co. Meath) - October 1, 2020, very peacefully at Belmont House Nursing Home, Galloping Green, Stillorgan, Co Dublin. Beloved and loving husband of Mary, cherished father of his beloved daughters, Jane, Rebecca and Sarah, doting grandfather of Aisling and Sophie (Gregory), Izzy, Nathan and Colm (Daly) Jamie, Anna, Lizzie and Charlie (Woodcock), and incredibly proud great-grandfather of Elliot James (Woodcock) and Olivia Jane (Suo). Deeply regretted by his sons-in-law Peter Woodcock and Ken Daly, and by Andy Petherbridge. Also by his granddaughter in-law, Jessica (Donnelly) and his grandson in-law, Michael (Suo). He will be missed by his sisters-in-law, Noeleen and Treena (O’Donnell) and all his nephews and nieces, the families of his late brothers, Michael, Eddie and Aiden and his late sister Marie. He will also be sadly missed by his Costigan in-laws, Brenda, Elisabeth, Donal, John and Mark and their families. By all his former colleagues in the Institute of Public Administration and by his many friends. May he Rest in Peace. In accordance with Government guidelines, his funeral will take place privately. O'CONNOR, Cuthbert (Cubby) (Malaga Spain, Terenure Dublin and formerly of Thomas O’Connor and sons and Cubby O’Connor Ltd.) September 25th 2020 (suddenly, but peacefully) surrounded by his daughters and his granddaughter in Xanit Hospital Benalmadena. Beloved husband of the late Mary and father of the late Martin. Sadly missed by his loving daughters Denise and Elizabeth his six grandchildren Rebecca, Nicole, Stephen, Tom, Nicolas and Moss, his partner Sylvie Duval, his son-in-law Stephen, Denise's partner Rob, his devoted brother Willie, sister Madeline, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and his many nieces and nephews. Rest in Peace. Heartfelt thanks to all who have supported Cubby in Spain and Ireland, especially Rebecca and Mark for the care they took of him in recent months. Cubby was much loved by his wide circle of friends from Newbridge College, Bective RFC, Newlands Golf Club, the Cystic Fibrosis Association, the Jewellery business and Spain. His big personality and infectious laugh will be forever missed.
