BEGGAN, Seán (John) (Rathfarnham and late of Goldenbridge Avenue) - January 29th, 2021. Suddenly surrounded by his loving family. Devoted husband and sweetheart of Thérèse, beloved father of Sharon, Raymond, Ciara, Louise, Sinead and Aisling. Sean will be deeply missed by his loving family, his sons-in-law, his 14 adored grandchildren, his brother, his sisters, his in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends. DELANEY,, Fr. James (Jim) C.S.Sp. (Kimmage Manor and late of S.C.R Dublin) Missionary in Kenya and the US where he fundraised for Marian House. - January 28th 2021, in the care of the Sisters of Nazareth, Nazareth House and in his 93rd year after a short illness. Son of the late Joe and Kathleen. Deeply regretted by his nieces Jeanne, Barbara, Sylvia, Lesley, nephews Bryan, Neil and Derek, his nieces-in-law and nephews-in-law. Also sadly missed by his many grandnieces and grandnephews and their partners, great-grandnephews and great-grandnieces, many friends and his Spiritan confrères. He touched all our lives in a very special way. Predeceased by his brothers Fr. Noel C.S.Sp., Dermot, Tommy, Joe and Kevin, his sisters Maureen and Kathleen, sisters-in-law Yvonne and Doris and brother-in-law Dick. Rest in Peace. SHEERIN, Pauline (née Parker) (late of Greenlea Road, Terenure) – January 27, 2021, at Mount Hybla Nursing Home, Castleknock, aged 94 years, after a short illness, wife of the late John (Jack) Sheerin, beloved sister of Sean (John), Liam Parker and the late Ben, Joe, Kieran and Declan. She will be greatly missed by her children, Anne (Kinsella), Eileen (Saunders), Emily and Michael, grandchildren Nicola, Jennifer, Emma, David and Lucy and great grandchildren, Gabe, Caitlin and Olivia, her sons-in-law John, Don and Kevin and daughter-in-law Elma, brother-in-law Frank Sheerin, sisters-in-law Fionnuala, Marjorie Parker and Theresa Sheerin, her nieces and nephews, extended family, kind neighbours, her old friends and new ones that she made in Mount Hybla, her family are very grateful to all the wonderful staff there. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, and to keep everyone safe, without exception, the prayer service today (Monday Feb 1), will be private. She will be laid to rest afterwards with her parents, Annie and Joe Parker, at Glasnevin Cemetery. KENNEDY, Valerie (nee O’Flynn) (Milltown, Dublin and formerly of Glounthaune, Cork) - January 27th 2021. Unexpectedly but peacefully at home in the presence of her loving husband Tom. Beloved mother of Siobhán, John,Tom and Norma, much loved grandmother to James, Thomas, David, Jack, Daniel, Lizzy, Johnny and Sophia, and great grandmother to Alyssa and Eábha. Sadly missed by daughters-in-law Leanne and Roisín and sons-in-law David and Steven, Aimee, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her brother Noel and sister Norma. May she rest in peace. COWLEY, Marie (nee Mc Manus) suddenly at home on 26 January 2021. Marie was a wonderful character, larger than life, full of fun and cherished for her commitment to her many activities in the community.She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Michael, her children Manus, Devoril, and Leonie, their partners Mieka, Steve, and Erica, her grandchildren Ronan and Aideen, and all the members of her family and her many friends. As per her wishes, her body has been donated to medical research. A memorial service will be held in St.Mary's Church Lucan on Tuesday 2nd February at 3pm. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her heartbroken family, her sister Kathleen, brothers John and Patrick, brother-in-law Dan, sister-in-law Dympna, nieces and nephews: Brian, Niall, Rory, Sinéad, Deirdre, Grainne, Tara, Katriona, Emer, grand nieces, grand nephews.
