FORBES, Robert Christian Kennedy, Dublin and Inistioge suddenly, in a traffic accident November 1, 2021. To the inexplicable grief of Cyril and Jill Forbes at losing someone who shone so bright with such warmth. He also leaves behind his brother Jason, where Robert was best man at his wedding and his sister-in-law Sarah Forbes with whom he developed a very close bond. His nephew Kai and his niece Zia saw nothing but a slice of awesome in their hero Uncle Bob. The depth of his warmth will be missed deeply not just by his broader family but the universe of friends he made both in Ireland and across his global travels, most often by bike. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am tomorrow Saturday (not on Friday as previously advertised) in Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount, followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium. The Mass will also be streamed live on Saturday at https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-marys-star-of-the-sea-sandymount/. Those who would have liked to attend but due to current restriction cannot, may leave a condolence message online. Donations welcomed to Rob's favorite charity, the Simon Community https://www.simon.ie/donate/ May he rest in peace, still smiling.
