MONGEY - Bernie Mongey, (née Cooney), 19th July 2026, Sarnaught, Castlebar and late of Bridge Street, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Delia Cooney. Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Iarla, daughters Deirdre, Dairín, Eavan and Bernie, sons Eamon, Iarla, Cathal and Tiernan, sisters Patricia Mc Partland and Frances, sons-in-law Will, Rory, Greg and Bernie’s partner Declan, daughters-in-law Lucianne, Caroline and Hilda, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. May she rest in peace. Bernie will repose in Coady’s Funeral home, Castlebar, F23 XY63, on Tuesday (21st July) from 5pm with removal at 7pm to her residence. Removal from her residence on Wednesday morning at 10.15 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar followed by burial afterwards in Castlebar Old Cemetery.

WRYNN - Mairéad (Jan) Tullamore, Co. Offaly and Fenagh, Co. Leitrim.

Peacefully on the 18th July 2026, surrounded by her family.

Predeceased by her parents Jim and Maura Wrynn, her partner Jack Holmes and her brother Edward. Deeply loved by her sisters Ann and Angela and her brothers Pat, James and Gerard, her brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, cousins, her wide circle of friends and her wonderful neighbours. Reposing at her residence in Tullamore, (Eircode; R35Y046) on Tuesday 21st July from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church, Fenagh, Foxfield N41RC99 on Wednesday 22nd July at 11.30 am followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan (Eircode; H12 RF78) at 3pm.

WILSON - (née Crowley), Philomena (Mena) (Churchtown, Dublin and late of Barrabehy, Co. Kilkenny) 16th July 2026. Peacefully, at home, in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Eugene and loving mother of Raymond, Christine, Brendan, Miriam, Pauline, Eugene, Frances, Mena, and Garrett. She will be very sadly missed by her family, her cherished grandchildren Sarah, Johanna, James, Ciarán, Rebekah, Ava, Anna, Eoghan, Aidan, Luke, and Jake, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, friends and neighbours. Removal on Monday morning (20th July) to the Church of St. Teresa, Clarendon Street arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am followed by removal to St Killogue’s Church, Kilnaspic, Co. Kilkenny, X91 A263 arriving for Funeral Mass at 4pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
